The iced vanilla latte was pretty good. Interior is nice and the service was good too. Parking is on street. I would come back if I lived near the area!

-edit- On 2nd thought I'm changing this review from 3 stars to 4 stars. Overall not a bad place, but do please serve drip coffee past 11am. Americanos aren't the same as classic drip coffee. I'm all for supporting local businesses and giving honest feedback. Soulmate is a cute little coffee shop off a strip of businesses. Overall, I like their aesthetic curb appeal. However execution of the interior shop and the menu I beg to differ. Service was cold and hot that day; I appreciated the kind act when the barista went out their way and handed me the drink. It's a good spot for the local younger crowd. I can't say the coffee is bad nor spectacular. I'd stop by only for convenience. I could see what the interior design was going for but it seemed a little off. There's a small seating section which was mostly filled up; which is a good sign of business I had a decent coffee tonic topped off with a garnish. It was a little too sweet and sugary for my tastes but not bad at all--I like mine with a little fizz/shaken froth. I can't speak on their tea selection. My one major dislike is how they stop serving drip coffee past 11am -- no left overs -- nada.

Soulmate is my go-to coffee shop! I usually order the oat-based Spanish latte or the Dark Maple Cinnamon latte and both are phenomenal (iced or hot!!) The employees are very friendly and I always get served quickly after ordering. Great atmosphere, great staff, great coffee!

Ive only been here twice, but this is definitely one of my top coffee spots for an iced vanilla latte. They've got the ratios down aka not too much milk, not too sweet, and you can still taste the espresso. 10/10, very well balanced iced latte! The staff are also so sweet and quick with making their drinks, which is always a big plus. I have not tried their matcha or hojicha yet simply because I don't believe in paying for those at a coffee shop. You can always make it better at home. However, the matcha shade for their drinks look decent to me! Maybe one day I'll cave in. *there is only street parking available, but I never have a hard time finding a spot!

Soulmate was clean and open with plenty of seating for small parties. You can push some tables together if your party is larger. I got the Blueberry Oat Milk Latte with cream. This drink allows no customization, however I felt it wasn't painfully sweet so that's nice. I could taste the matcha but it was pretty light. The oat and cream was the main aftertaste. I initially wanted to bring my daughter but glad I didn't. It's open and friendly and gave off the typical vibes of a coffee shop but there wasn't much interesting to look at.

2nd visit here and I will now be a regular! I used to frequent Solid on Bellflower in the steelcraft area, but the line was out the door to the street! Not to mention the workers work really slow over there and take their sweet time. So, I said no thanks and immediately headed over to Soulmate! This is a gem of a place! Even though the line may be long here, the workers work so fast and get your drink done in no time! I lalalallalove the Spanish oat latte! As I mentioned before not too sweet, already has oat milk, and strong espresso flavor. What else can I ask for??!!

11:30....crowded but still a vibe. Small...and Q-Tip is playing....Found a table so I'm staying ;-) By the looks of it you can have whatever type of day you'd like here....people are playing battle ship...others working intently and 30 mins in the playlist is still giving. If a cafe has a cookie--I'm getting the cookie. I'm sad to report that there is no warmer....but I still got the cookie and it was great. Customer service is top tier. Everyone was warm and welcoming.

Soulmate has been on my must try list ever since they opened up and it's also very out of the way for me so I had to save it for the perfect day. My mom had to stop by the Los Cerritos Center anyways so making the additional 10 minute drive was the perfect situation. I was lucky to find street parking along the sidewalk adjacent to Soulmate a block away. There's honestly a good amount of street parking available on and right across the street as well by the USPS. I was welcomed as soon as I entered even though there was a line so that's always a huge plus. Here's what I ordered: **Oat Based Spanish: Got this with two extra shots of espresso. Their drinks have a base of two shots so an additional shot or two are the same price. It was very delicious. You can tell that they use high quality beans because the flavor profile was perfect in every aspect. (5/5) The guy working the register made sure to hand deliver drinks to every customer waiting which was also a very nice touch. Not necessary but a huge plus because the service in general was very welcoming. Dude had really chill vibes and made sure every customer felt welcome. I wouldn't recommend you studying here because it's not that type of coffee shop. This spot is more of a chill and drink type of spot. The AC is on high which is great especially during this hot SoCal summer time. They sell additional things on a shelf including matcha, matcha whisks, drinks, and some other miscellaneous items. I will definitely be back in the near future and I'm excited to try more of their drinks!

My recent visit to SOULMATE left me thoroughly impressed. I opted for the Houjicha Oat Milk Tea, and it was a delightful choice. Accompanying my beverage was the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had. It was perfectly baked, with a gooey center and crisp edges. The combination of the tea and cookie was simply divine. The space itself is clean and simple, creating a relaxing environment for enjoying your drinks and treats. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. My boyfriend and sister ordered the Kyoto Milk Tea. I had a sip and that was pretty delicious as well! I highly recommend SOULMATE to anyone looking for a cozy spot to enjoy delicious tea and treats. It's a gem worth discovering!
